Found Paper Drawing
Found Paper: postcard, receipt, to do list, old homework page, letter, map/atlas, planner page, dictionary page, grocery list, old book age, hallway pass, rock, newspaper, cardboard, sheet music, etc.
Mission: Draw an image on your found paper. Look at lines, shapes, size of paper, and words on your found material you could get inspiration from (chemistry molecules = honey comb, hatch marks/folds on envelope = origami and repeated hatch lines, long receipt = long image). Think about collaging on drawing paper to create more space. Subject matter is your choice. You can use your chromebook for reference images.
Day 1: Bring in found paper. Plan and research day. Organize your ideas. Sketch images.
Day 2: Have concept ready when you come to class. Start creating on final!
